Your doula care at a glance

Prenatal Care
These visits are dedicated to familiarizing you and your partner to all things birth. We will work together to create a birth plan detailing desires, patient rights, comfort measures, birthing positions, and important information regarding care for you and your baby. Pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and lactation education are provided in these visits!

Birth support
Birth is a journey within itself, allow me to guide you. Having a doula ensures that you and your partner have support, advocacy, guidance, and a personal birth coach during your labor and delivery experience. If you’re rocking, I’m rolling. Let’s do it together from start to finish!

Postpartum care
These visits are to provide continued support through the fourth trimester. The fourth trimester can be quite an adjustment for new and repeat parents. Postpartum care allows an opportunity to address progress, areas of needed support, and mental health check-ins. Here at Powerhouse we do not participate in “Snapback Culture”, instead we promote giving grace and gradual, healthy healing. During this visit it is common that the doula helps with household tasks (laundry, dishes, organizing, etc.)

Overnight support
Yes, you read that correctly! Overnight postpartum support gives the parent(s) a chance to have a night out and/or stay in with optimal care for their little one. This is offered as an 8-hour, in-home visit. The doula not only cares for your child but will complete tasks around the home.

Doula and the Bee
This is similar to an overnight postpartum visit, instead it is for a shorter time and doesn't have to be overnight. The doula provides an in-home visit with your baby while you do as you please sleep, movies, self-care day, etc. during the hours needed. The doula not only cares for your child but will complete tasks around the home.
Once you begin, you’ll see why,
